Matanzas Woods Parkway Loop Road Groundbreaking

This approximately $25 million state-funded infrastructure project will enhance regional connectivity and support future economic vitality opportunities throughout Palm Coast and Flagler County. 

The City of Palm Coast invites community members to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Matanzas Woods Parkway Loop Road project on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 10 a.m.

Location: Parkgate Boulevard, west of the Matanzas Woods Parkway roundabout in Palm Coast

Parking: Parking is available along the roadway or at the Space Shop Self-Storage facility located at 105 Matanzas Woods Pkwy, Palm Coast, FL 32137

This approximately $25 million state-funded infrastructure project will enhance regional connectivity and support future economic vitality opportunities throughout Palm Coast and Flagler County. The project includes a new multi-lane roadway and a bridge over the Florida East Coast Railway, improving safety and eliminating an at-grade rail crossing in the area.

City officials, elected leaders, project partners, and community members will gather to celebrate this major milestone and the beginning of construction on a project that will help shape the future of Palm Coast for generations to come.
